George Latif Sedhom is an assistant professor of multimedia & new media technology at the International Academy for Engineering & Media Science, with an applied background of multimedia since he was graduated from multimedia department and got a certified multimedia diploma from the Information Technology Institute in Egypt. He has extensive experience as a motion graphics designer in different local and multinational television channels and networks beside his academic job and studies. His recent PhD research was about augmented reality and its usage in television channels through the systems supporting virtual studios and on-air graphics and videowall also he had a personal vision about using hologram in live shows with attending audience.
George is concentrating his researches in interdisciplinary studies between mass communication theories and art perspective and technologies used to deliver the proper message to the audience through traditional and also social media, also he published a book recently titled “TV advertising and visual effects between dazzling and employment”
George is a frequent lecturer at many universities and institutes, teaching multimedia basics, communication technology, motion graphics tools, editing, visual effects and 3D graphics designing, also he has a good IT background, and recently he is involved in digital marketing and social media and he is working in this field intensively.
